About The Position

Choice Health at Home is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to help patients make progress in their everyday lives. The COTA will work with an Occupational Therapist to provide hands-on treatment aimed at improving patients' strength, mobility, and ability to perform daily activities, ultimately helping them regain the skills needed for greater independence.

Requirements

• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
• CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance

Nice To Haves

• Home health or skilled nursing facility experience preferred
• HomeCare HomeBase experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Help patients build functional skills and work toward their therapy goals.
• Document care accurately and communicate progress to the Occupational Therapist and care team.
• Educate and encourage patients and families throughout treatment.
• Follow infection control practices and agency policies to support safe, consistent care.
