Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
About The Position
The Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) provides high-quality hand therapy services to patients and customers, including evaluation, care planning, treatment, re-evaluation, discharge, and appropriate communications. The role develops treatment plans, supervises assistants and aides, contributes to case management, and provides quality patient care. It also maintains positive interactions with facilities and clients and enhances client relationships with facilities and their staff. The position is located at 4425 South Pecos Road, Las Vegas, NV (East Flamingo), and is full-time. Compensation is $30–$40 per hour depending on years of experience, with an $8,000 sign-on bonus.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school for Occupational Therapy Assisting.
- Minimum of Level II clinical rotation or fieldwork in hand therapy specific to the application of custom splinting pre- and post-op orthopedic, completed within the last two years.
- National registration and state licensure or registration.
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Valid state driver’s license.
