About The Position
Human Touch Home Health is hiring a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide home health services in Beltsville, Silver Spring, Laurel, Greenbelt, Bowie, College Park, Hyattsville, and surrounding Prince George’s and Montgomery County communities. This is a flexible PRN opportunity where you can create your own schedule and provide one-on-one care that helps patients regain independence with daily activities.
Requirements
- Active Maryland Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong documentation and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Home health experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Help patients improve activities of daily living and functional independence
- Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and safety strategies
- Document patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising therapist
- Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
