About The Position

Sobe Innovative Rehab is seeking a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) to join their growing team. This full-time position focuses on providing exceptional care to older adults, helping them remain independent, engaged, and safely aging in place. The organization is an outpatient therapy provider dedicated to helping patients live healthier, more independent lives through a proactive, preventative approach that addresses everyday challenges related to mobility, self-care, safety, strength, coordination, and participation in meaningful activities. Requirements

  • Licensed and practicing Occupational Therapist Assistant.
  • 3+ years of experience.
  • Passionate about helping older adults live healthier, more independent lives.

  • Organized with strong time-management skills.
  • Committed to completing documentation within 48 hours.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a full caseload and provide individualized occupational therapy interventions.
  • Primarily treat patients in an Assisted Living Facility (ALF) setting, with occasional home/community-based visits as needed.
  • Manage your patient schedule within the 9:00 AM–5:30 PM workday.
  • Help patients improve independence with daily activities, mobility, safety, and functional skills.
  • Address areas such as self-care, transfers, balance, coordination, strength, and adaptive strategies.
  • Communicate with patients, families, caregivers, and community clinical staff.
  • Exercise clinical autonomy while having access to support from experienced therapists.
  • Complete documentation within 48 hours.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team.
  • Help patients achieve greater independence and quality of life.
