This PRN Occupational Therapist Assistant role involves implementing tailored occupational therapy care plans aligned with assessments and physician prescriptions. The position provides treatment at Lansing-based campuses (Origami Main in Mason, Origami Greenlawn in South Lansing, and Origami West in West Lansing), requiring flexibility and adaptability in work location based on organizational needs.

Requirements

Occupational Therapist Assistant licensure in the state of Michigan.
CPR, First Aid, AED certification (provided by Origami)

Responsibilities

Model appropriate behavior conducive to a positive working and therapeutic environment.
Provide care to clients under the direction of the occupational therapist by implementing the plan of care, obtaining data related to the treatment provided, and collaborating with the occupational therapist to modify care as needed.
Document daily notes and service billings in a timely fashion and in accordance with procedure to provide complete documentation for client charts.
Proactively initiate and follow-through with tasks utilizing appropriate problem-solving techniques to facilitate communication flow and prompt resolutions.
Maintain caseload levels at a level deemed reasonable by the OT supervisor.
Observe all rules of confidentiality as they pertain to program participants internally, and in working with outside individuals and/or agencies.
Provide caseload coverage for OT services.
Other duties as assigned by the OT Supervisor.
