About The Position

This role is for an Occupational Therapist in the Acute Care department at Ascension Alexian Brothers in Elk Grove Village, IL. The position is full-time, with a rotating shift schedule. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate patients with physical, emotional, cognitive, and/or psychosocial deficits, design and implement patient-centered treatment plans, assess patients' ability to perform independent living skills, and document patient progress, monitoring and modifying the plan of care as necessary. The schedule involves 36 hours per week, with Tuesdays or Fridays as late days and other days being flexible. Weekend and holiday requirements are part of the role.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Occupational Therapy (OT) license credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation prior to hire date or job transfer date required. A valid license pending letter will be accepted until license is issued
Bachelor's degree required.
1-year acute care experience.

Nice To Haves

Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
