Join the growing Occupational Therapy team in this fast-paced level 1 trauma hospital. OTs provide evaluations, treatments, and discharge planning to patients with a variety of medical conditions and injuries, such as orthopedic, neurological, cardiovascular, oncology, geriatrics, and pediatrics. OTs have the unique opportunity to reduce the risk of further decline, improve functional independence, and assist with discharge planning. Occupational therapy practitioners will collaborate closely with a multi-interdisciplinary team, including case managers, nurses, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and physicians, to deliver excellent patient care. There are opportunities to practice in a variety of settings, not limited to ICU, pediatrics, behavior health, and joint center. Mentorship is available, and new graduates are welcome.
