About The Position

Work Schedule : 100% FTE, 40 hours/week. Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with weekend rotation. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. We are seeking a Occupational Therapist with acute care experience to: Provide consultative and rehabilitative treatment services to complex patients admitted to American Family Children’s Hospital, East Madison Hospital, and University Hospital in acute care settings. Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to create comprehensive evidence-based treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes and discharge plans. Work within the context of patient- and family- centered care in a primary and specialty care academic medical center. Seek continual learning opportunities to advance one’s own practice and educate others.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Wisconsin Upon Hire
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 months

  • 2 years prior relevant experience
