About The Position

This is a temporary full-time assignment for an experienced Paramedic to join the team as an Occupational Health Paramedic at a busy construction site in Elmore, AL. The role offers predictable hours and steady pay, providing an opportunity to transition from the stress of EMS, ED, or hospital-based care into a proactive, on-site occupational health role. The Paramedic will help prevent injuries, support worker wellness, and contribute to a safe, high-performance job site. Mobile Medical Corporation (MMC) focuses on preventing emergencies before they happen. The role involves being a key member of a safety-focused medical team, providing injury triage, health support, and wellness guidance while collaborating closely with site safety personnel and project leadership. This is not a traditional ambulance role; it is a clinic environment where the provider will build relationships with workers and contribute to the safe, efficient operation of the project.

Requirements

Current State Medical License (or ability to obtain per NREMT, State Laws, EMS/Nurses Compact)
Current ACLS certification required
Minimum 3 years of experience as a licensed Healthcare Provider
Valid driver’s license in good standing (when driving is required)
Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and medical office equipment
Must follow strict safety and infection control protocols

Nice To Haves

OSHA-30 Certification required within 90 days (company-provided)
Emergency, occupational, or industrial safety experience preferred

Responsibilities

Provide on-site medical coverage in a clinic setting at an active construction site.
Triage and treatment of occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
Follow-up care based on evidence-based medical protocols.
OSHA and workers’ compensation documentation.
First aid and emergency response.
Daily collaboration with site safety teams.
Promoting employee wellness initiatives.
Assess, triage, and treat injuries and illnesses.
Maintain accurate medical and OSHA documentation in EMR.
Conduct pre-employment and ongoing occupational health screenings.
Support risk management and workers’ compensation processes.
Lead “Stretch & Flex” sessions and participate in site walks.
Deliver excellent customer service and foster positive workplace relationships.
