About The Position

This is a temporary full-time assignment for an experienced Paramedic to join the team as an Occupational Health Paramedic at a busy construction site in Elmore, AL. The role offers predictable hours and steady pay, providing an opportunity to transition from the stress of EMS, ED, or hospital-based care into a proactive, on-site occupational health role. The Paramedic will help prevent injuries, support worker wellness, and contribute to a safe, high-performance job site. Mobile Medical Corporation (MMC) focuses on preventing emergencies before they happen. The role involves being a key member of a safety-focused medical team, providing injury triage, health support, and wellness guidance while collaborating closely with site safety personnel and project leadership. This is not a traditional ambulance role; it is a clinic environment where the provider will build relationships with workers and contribute to the safe, efficient operation of the project.

Requirements

  • Current State Medical License (or ability to obtain per NREMT, State Laws, EMS/Nurses Compact)
  • Current ACLS certification required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a licensed Healthcare Provider
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing (when driving is required)
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and medical office equipment
  • Must follow strict safety and infection control protocols

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA-30 Certification required within 90 days (company-provided)
  • Emergency, occupational, or industrial safety experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site medical coverage in a clinic setting at an active construction site.
  • Triage and treatment of occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
  • Follow-up care based on evidence-based medical protocols.
  • OSHA and workers’ compensation documentation.
  • First aid and emergency response.
  • Daily collaboration with site safety teams.
  • Promoting employee wellness initiatives.
  • Assess, triage, and treat injuries and illnesses.
  • Maintain accurate medical and OSHA documentation in EMR.
  • Conduct pre-employment and ongoing occupational health screenings.
  • Support risk management and workers’ compensation processes.
  • Lead “Stretch & Flex” sessions and participate in site walks.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and foster positive workplace relationships.
