Occupational Health Nurse
About The Position
Spectrum Healthcare Resources is currently seeking a Part-time Occupational Health Registered Nurse to join our team in support of a federal agency clinic in Roanoke, VA. This role offers a low-stress, mission-driven environment focused on the health and well-being of federal employees—not the general public. The position highlights include 16 hours per week, Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM, with no nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call duties. Enjoy a collaborative setting with minimal administrative burden while delivering high-quality care to those serving our nation. The hourly rate is $39-43.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or BSN)
- Active, unrestricted RN license in any U.S. state or territory
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational health nursing services including employee assessments, health screenings, and immunizations
- Support case management and return-to-work evaluations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with federal health and safety standards
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and uphold patient confidentiality
