Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
  • 2+ years’ of nursing experience.
  • Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin.
  • National Registry Licensed in any of the following: EMR, EMT, AEMR, or Paramedic.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site treatment for occupational injuries/illnesses, offer personal medical consultations, support the Medical Emergency Response Team, and deliver general safety training (First Aid/CPR/AED).
  • Manage the end-to-end workplace injury program, coordinate the return-to-work process, track medical rehabilitation, and maintain direct communication with legal, insurance, and supervisory teams.
  • Certify and manage job-specific medical clearances (including respirators, forklift vision, and DOT driver qualifications) while conducting health assessments for changes in employee work ability.
  • Oversee mandated medical monitoring, required lab work, COVID-19 testing, and pre-employment or for-cause substance abuse screening programs.
  • Maintain highly accurate, confidential employee health charts, medical histories, work restrictions, disability records, and regulatory injury/illness logs.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the company and local health service providers, county medical directors, and community resources.
  • Manage and maintain all on-site first aid equipment, medical supplies, the examination room, remote first aid boxes, and oxygen tank testing.
  • Drive company wellness initiatives (such as flu shots, travel immunizations, and blood drives), provide employee counseling with EAP referrals, and support local Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) campaigns.
