  • Maintain consistent, proactive communication with Worker’s Compensation insurance carriers to follow up on claim status, maximum medical improvement (MMI) designations, and treatment authorizations.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for external businesses contracted with Medworks, updating them on employee status, light-duty restrictions, and return-to-work timelines while maintaining strict compliance.
  • Conduct specialized occupational screenings independently, including: Respiratory Protection: Performing qualitative and quantitative respirator fit testing and pulmonary function tests (PFTs).
  • Execute proficient blood draws (phlebotomy) and routine medical surveillance.
  • Conduct regulated and non-regulated drug screens and breath alcohol testing.
  • Assist with Department of Transportation (DOT) physical medical tracking, mandated random testing workflows, and regulatory documentation.
