This full-time position in Occupational Health requires a Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to help patients live well. The role involves preparing patients for exams by taking vital signs and gathering health information, monitoring clinical integration and quality improvement measures, and performing laboratory procedures. The MA/LPN will assist physicians and advanced practice clinicians with procedures, administer medications under orders, and follow through with necessary requests, appointments, and referrals. They will also communicate with the healthcare team for smooth clinic flow and relay information to patients. Additional tasks may include basic and advanced clinical support skills such as suture removal, drug screens, phlebotomy, EKGs, and prescription refills under supervision. The role requires the ability to provide age-appropriate care and understand growth and development principles.
