About The Position

JLL is seeking an Occupancy Planner to join their Occupancy Planning and Management team. The role involves tracking, analyzing, and updating space data to develop scenario and occupancy plans for a client's portfolio in a designated region. This position requires fostering relationships with various individuals and organizations, ensuring coordination with business units like facility management for accurate growth projections, and developing planning strategies that drive construction projects. Regular facility audits, monthly reporting, periodic data audits, tracking utilization data and trends, gathering space and adjacency requirements, updating space layouts, and developing space planning and block diagrams are key responsibilities. The role also focuses on planning and managing portfolios, maximizing space, and assisting clients with migration plans, group moves, and individual moves, utilizing qualitative and quantitative data to understand supply and demand. A significant part of the role involves understanding space utilization methods, presenting utilization data, reconciling discrepancies with top-down projections, and tracking/reporting actual seat demand at the group level.

Requirements

  • Work experience in occupancy or space planning for corporate clients; or interior office planning, furniture planning/management, move/project management, or related Facilities function in a corporate real estate setting.
