About The Position

BayCare Medical Group is seeking an experienced Board-Certified Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician to join St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital and support BayCare’s expanding GME OB/GYN Residency Program in Tampa Bay. This position offers a strong outpatient focus with the ability to participate in surgical procedures based on professional interests, within a collaborative environment. Notably, there are no onsite call requirements, allowing for personal time and flexibility. The role involves leading the launch and growth of a new outpatient Obstetrics & Gynecology practice, with the freedom to shape clinical focus, workflows, and long-term direction. The physician will work alongside BayCare’s OB Hospitalist team, maintain a strong outpatient emphasis with optional participation in surgeries and C-sections, and play a key role in BayCare’s developing Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency Program by mentoring residents and contributing to quality and safety initiatives.

Requirements

Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Eligible for Florida medical licensure
Interest in resident education and mentorship
Desire to help build and shape a growing women’s health program

Responsibilities

Lead the launch and growth of a new outpatient Obstetrics & Gynecology practice.
Shape clinical focus, workflows, and long-term direction of the practice.
Work alongside BayCare’s OB Hospitalist team.
Maintain a strong outpatient emphasis with optional participation in surgeries and C-sections.
Mentor residents in BayCare’s developing Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency Program.
Contribute to quality and safety initiatives.
