JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Lewisburg, PA • Service Setting: Outpatient • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Coverage Period: June 1, 2026 – Ongoing • Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Wednesday (most likely), 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, 2–3 consecutive days, 2 weeks per month • On-Call Shift Schedule: PRN COVERAGE DATES • June 1, 2026 – Ongoing PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Adolescents, Adults • Patient Volume/Census: 20–25 patients per day • Admissions: Yes • Case Mix: OB/GYN including clinic visits and minor procedures FACILITY INFORMATION • EMR System: Epic • Office Equipment Available: Colposcope (or referral available) • Specialty Backup Available: Not Specified • Support Staff Available: Clinic nurses (1–2 per provider), registration staff, Clinical Supervisor, Office Supervisor, Practice Manager • Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Temporary Privileges Available: Limited (case dependent) • Credentialing Timeline: 60–90 days COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES • Endometrial biopsy (EMB) • Colposcopy • Pessary maintenance • PAP smears JOB REQUIREMENTS • Licenses: Active PA license required (IMLC accepted) • Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN • DEA: Required (PA) • Certifications: BLS required • Other Qualifications: Vaccinations required or approved exemption DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide OB/GYN care in clinic and L&D settings • Perform minor gynecologic procedures • Manage patient evaluations and treatment plans • Collaborate with multidisciplinary care team • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
