About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Obstetrics & Gynecologist to provide locum tenens coverage in Canton, OH. This inpatient role involves clinical duties and in-house call, with a focus on managing patients in the OBED (Obstetrics Emergency Department). The coverage period is from September 28, 2026, and ongoing. Responsibilities include rounding on various patient types, performing a range of obstetric and gynecologic procedures, and ensuring 24/7 coverage of the OBED.

Requirements

• Active OH license or IMLC (Universal License)
• ABOG or ABOOG board certified
• Vaginal delivery
• Cesarean section
• VAVD
• Repair 3rd and 4th degree laceration repair
• Labor induction
• TOLAC
• Suction D+C
• First assist GYN procedures
• Circumcision
• Management of medical conditions in pregnancy and complications of pregnancy
• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

Responsibilities

• Round on postpartum, antepartum, gyn, and consult patients
• Perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Manage all patients presenting to the OBED
• Perform procedures including suction D+C, circumcision, laceration repair, etc.
• Work in-house 12 or 24 hour shifts covering the OBED 24/7
