About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for an Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician in Grand Island, NE. The role involves both inpatient and outpatient services, including clinical duties and 24-hour call coverage. The coverage period is from November 20, 2026, to November 29, 2026, with a call ratio of 1:2. The reason for coverage is a physician resignation. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.
Requirements
- Board Certified in OB/GYN
- Active NE License or Universal License (IMLC)
- Active DEA Certification
- BLS certification
- NRP certification
- Clean malpractice history preferred
- Availability required
- Must have hospital privileges
- Ability to perform all standard gynecologic procedures in a clinic and hospital setting
Responsibilities
- Provide clinic-based obstetrics and gynecology care
- Perform after-hours call coverage including labor and delivery
- Conduct gynecologic surgeries in the hospital setting
- Respond to city call for emergency consults
- Serve as backup for Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs)
