About The Position

We are seeking a Board Certified Obstetrics & Gynecology physician for a Locum Tenens position in Petoskey, Michigan. This role involves both inpatient and outpatient services, with a coverage period from August 15, 2026, to December 31, 2026. The schedule includes weekday clinic hours (2-4 hours per day) with night call, and 24-hour call coverage on weekends. The physician will manage prenatal care, routine gynecological services, perform vaginal deliveries and C-sections, and document patient encounters using the Cerner EMR system. Support staff, including 2 NPs, will be available. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.

Requirements

Board Certified in OB/GYN
Active Michigan License
Minimum 2 years in OB/GYN
Local candidate required
NPDB report within 30 days
Submit rates at name clear

Responsibilities

Provide outpatient OB/GYN clinic care (2-4 hours per day, Mon-Fri)
Manage prenatal care and routine gynecological services
Perform vaginal deliveries and C-sections as needed
Provide 24-hour call coverage, including night call on weekdays and 24-hour call on weekends
Document patient encounters in Cerner EMR and comply with reverse billing/time tracking via DocTime
