We are seeking a skilled and mission-driven Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN) to join our community-based hospital in New York City. This role provides a balanced mix of outpatient care and operative gynecology, serving a highly diverse patient population. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering high-quality, culturally responsive care and thrives in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Active or eligible for medical licensure in New York State
  • Demonstrated experience in both outpatient and operative OB/GYN care
  • Strong commitment to community-based practice and caring for diverse populations
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in minimally invasive surgical techniques
  • Multilingual skills (Spanish or other languages strongly preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient obstetric and gynecologic care, including routine exams, prenatal care, and preventive services
  • Perform a full scope of gynecologic surgical procedures, including minimally invasive and open techniques
  • Manage labor and delivery, including on-call responsibilities as required
  • Deliver patient-centered care that reflects cultural sensitivity and addresses health disparities within the community
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including midwives, nurses, and subspecialists
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support best practices in women’s health
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
