About The Position

This role involves implementing gynecological and obstetric procedures to improve women's reproductive health and reduce risks associated with pregnancy, delivery, and neonatology. The work will be conducted in accordance with MSF policies, protocols, and universal hygiene standards, in collaboration with other medical professionals and midwife services. The position requires a minimum availability of 6 months and is for international humanitarian missions.

Requirements

  • General Physician Degree
  • Final Specialization in Obstetrics/Gynecology
  • Minimum 2 years practicing (after specialization) as Obstetrician/Gynaecologist for a hospital developing multi-purpose activities
  • Computer literacy (word, excel, internet)
  • English (B2 or higher level)
  • Spanish (C1 or higher level)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in obstetrics in emergency
  • Work experience with MSF and other NGOs in developing countries
  • Knowledge of French

Responsibilities

  • Provide health care related to gynecology and obstetrics to patients, including prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Ensure the implementation of MSF clinical policies, tools, guidelines, and protocols related to gynecology and obstetrics.
  • Collect quantitative gynecological data and ensure the use of management tools to improve gynecological results and share knowledge.
  • Plan and supervise HR processes for gynecological staff, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and development.
  • Supervise the maintenance and operation of gynecological equipment and drug consumption, ensuring rational use and updated stock levels.
