About The Position

Join our collaborative West team, where you’ll provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to women across the full spectrum of their healthcare needs. This is an opportunity to build meaningful patient relationships while delivering personalized care in a supportive clinic environment. The Eden Prairie Clinic is a multispecialty clinic in a scenic, park-like setting offering convenient, coordinated care for women. Deliveries take place at The Mother Baby Center at Abbott Northwestern Hospital and Children’s Minnesota, where patients receive personalized, family-centered care supported by advanced maternal-fetal expertise.

Requirements

  • Doctoral/Ph.D. level advanced degree in Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine or foreign equivalent from an approved school of medicine
  • Completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) accredited Residency training program in OB/GYN
  • Licensed Physician - MN Board of Medical Practice if working in the State of MN required and must be board certified or be eligible for board certification within Obstetrics and Gynecology upon hire
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association OR Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross OR Allina in-house BLS training (within 30 days of hire)
  • Drug Enforcement Agency Certificate upon hire required
  • Prescription Monitoring Program upon hire required
  • National Provider Identifier upon hire required

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care.
  • Reviews patient's medical history while collecting, prioritizing, and synthesizing comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
  • Evaluates, interprets, and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care.
  • Provides education, consultation or intervention to patients (treatment plan) and their families.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
  • Practices in a thoughtful manner including consideration for cultural diversity, individual autonomy and legal responsibilities.
  • Provide care in an ambulatory clinic and gyn surgical coverage.
  • Review medical histories and synthesize clinical information to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Educate and counsel patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care.
