About The Position

Surveillance Operators are responsible for the daily on-going monitoring and observation of casino operations, while ensuring the security and integrity of casino assets, staff and patrons. This role involves routine surveillance of the gaming floor to identify potential problems, such as poor game protection and suspicious individuals. The operator acts as a support unit to other departments in relation to the protection of company assets. Attention to detail and sound observational skills are crucial for conducting reviews and completing reports and logs that could be used as evidence in legal matters. The position also assists in coordinating and resolving emergency situations and demonstrates a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate managers of concerns and observations. Additionally, the role is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing work and public spaces.

Requirements

  • A minimum of one (1) or more years of experience in a Security related field or gaming related positions (Cage, Slot, Table Games or Audit) preferred.
  • Analytical, observational, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must obtain and maintain valid licenses / certifications per Federal, State and ERGC Gaming regulations.
  • Must successfully pass background check.
  • Must successfully pass drug screening.
  • Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours.
  • Prior experience in the Gaming industry required.
  • Prior experience in Tribal Gaming strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of computer applications.
  • Must be able to use a computer and operate efficiently.
  • Must be able to work overtime and or change shifts on short notice.
  • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work in a team environment.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Casino Surveillance or related surveillance experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Routine surveillance of the gaming floor identifying potential problems, such as poor game protection, suspicious individuals, and acting as a support unit to other departments in relation to the protection of company assets.
  • Conducting reviews, writing and completing reports and logs that could be used as evidence in legal matters that have resulted from criminal charges against patrons or employees.
  • Assist in the coordination and resolution of emergency situations.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate managers of concerns and observations.
  • Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing work and public spaces.
  • Other duties as assigned.
