About The Position

Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking an Ultrasound Tech for their Obgyn clinic located on Preston Highway. This is a full-time, first-shift position. Eligible for a $2500 Sign-On Bonus, reserved for new hires meeting eligibility criteria. The role involves coordinating the delivery of health care services to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients, establishing and maintaining standards of care in Ultrasound sciences, and exercising professional judgment. The position requires managing daily operations to meet the needs of a changing work environment and involvement with staff competencies, schedules, and educational needs. If working with Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) physicians, nuchal translucency certification is preferred or must be obtained within the first year of employment.

Requirements

High School Diploma required
Holds current credentials as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
Three (3) years of experience in scanning OB-GYN procedures.
Basic Life Support and other advanced training as appropriate.

Nice To Haves

Associates Degree from an OB-GYN Ultrasound program preferred (Certificate or Degree as long as registry eligible).
Nuchal translucency certification preferred (or obtained within the first year of employment) if position involves work with Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) physicians.

Responsibilities

Performs the following studies proficiently: Biophysical Profile, Complete Obstetric Ultrasound, Limited Obstetric Ultrasound, Multiple Gestation Ultrasound, Transvaginal (cervical length) Ultrasound, Pelvic Ultrasound.
