This Float Ultrasound Technician role is for OBGYN locations.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or equivalent.
  • RVT and/or ARDMS (AB) certification required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's or Associate’s degree preferred.
  • RDCS/Echo experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of ultrasound exams, including general, vascular, cardiac and small parts in an outpatient setting.
  • Prepare preliminary written impressions and communicate results to radiologists / cardiologists.
  • Maintain and document regular equipment maintenance.
  • Review and execute current lab protocols and assure emergent tests are expedited.
  • Assist doctors with outpatient-related procedures/biopsies.
  • Follow and understand all radiology policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, organization, and computer skills.
