About The Position
We are seeking an OBGYN Physician for a Locum Tenens position at a hospital in Arlington, TX. This role involves clinical duties and 24-hour in-house call shifts, covering the period from February 3, 2027, to August 4, 2027. The physician will manage care for unassigned OB/GYN patients, monitor labor, interpret fetal heart tracings, perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections, and provide consults for pregnancy-related and gynecologic concerns. Specialty backup is available from Neonatology, Anesthesia, OB/GYN Hospitalists, Certified Nurse Midwives, and Family Medicine. The facility utilizes the Epic EMR system.
Requirements
- Current Texas Medical License or willingness to obtain
- Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Recent delivery and surgical experience
- ACGME OB/GYN residency with robotics training
- MD or DO required
- Robotics training
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients in the Obstetric Emergency Department (OBED)
- Manage care for unassigned OB/GYN patients
- Monitor labor and interpret fetal heart tracings
- Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
- Provide consults to the Emergency Department and medical floors for pregnancy-related and gynecologic concerns
