About The Position
Mass General Brigham is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible OB/GYN for a moonlighting opportunity at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected community hospital affiliated with Mass General Brigham while working alongside a collaborative and experienced multidisciplinary team. The role involves providing obstetric and gynecologic care for hospitalized patients, including labor management, deliveries, obstetric triage, emergency gynecologic consultations, and urgent surgical care as needed. The position offers a flexible moonlighting schedule designed to supplement an existing practice and competitive compensation.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Eligible for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Strong clinical skills, excellent bedside manner, and commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based patient care
- Ability to independently manage obstetric and gynecologic emergencies in a community hospital setting
- Interest in working within a collaborative, community-based care model
Responsibilities
- Provide obstetric and gynecologic care for hospitalized patients, including labor management, deliveries, obstetric triage, emergency gynecologic consultations, and urgent surgical care as needed
- Collaborate closely with experienced OB/GYN physicians, certified nurse midwives, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, nursing staff, and other members of the care team
