Physician: OBGYN Hospitalist - Kishwaukee, IL
About The Position
Northwestern Health Network Medical Group is seeking full-time OBGYN Hospitalist physicians to join its team in Kishwaukee, Illinois, in the far western suburbs of Chicago. The position serves patients at Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital, which has a Level II Labor and Delivery unit with 24/7 neonatal support. Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists are available for consultation and co-management of high-risk patients. The physician will work within a growing, multispecialty group that promotes a collegial work environment, physician success, and compassionate care. The group uses the EPIC electronic health record system. Northwestern Medicine provides administrative support so physicians can focus on practicing medicine. The position is listed at 40 hours per week (1.0 FTE) on the day shift. The stated annual salary range is $315,000 to $335,000.
Requirements
- Be eligible for board certification or be board certified (BE/BC).
Responsibilities
- Manage antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients.
- Provide OB triage.
- Handle gynecology consultations.
- Assist with surgical procedures and OB deliveries.
- Provide emergency department coverage for OB/Gyn patients.
