About The Position
Northwestern Health Network Medical Group is actively seeking full-time OBGYN Hospitalist physicians to join their growing team in Kishwaukee, IL. This role involves managing various aspects of obstetric and gynecological care within a hospital setting. The position is part of a successful and expanding multi-specialty physician group that emphasizes a collegial work environment, physician success, and compassionate care, utilizing the EPIC electronic health record system. The community of DeKalb County is described as warm and vibrant, offering suburban sophistication, four seasons of recreation, arts, and entertainment, and is conveniently located 60 miles west of Chicago.
Requirements
- BE/BC
Responsibilities
- Manage antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum patients
- OB triage
- Gyn consults
- Surgical and OB delivery assists
- ED coverage for OB/Gyn patients
- Deliveries at Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb, IL
- Provide coverage for a Level II Labor and Delivery unit with 24/7 neonatal support
- Collaborate with Maternal Fetal Medicine for consults and co-management of high-risk patients
