Heartline Staffing is hiring an OB Registered Nurse Night Weekender in Black River Falls, Wisconsin. This is an immediate opening for a Registered Nurse in a hospital OB department. The role involves supporting mothers, babies, and families through labor, delivery, and the postpartum experience. The department is staffed to AWHONN Standards to ensure safe, high-quality, compassionate, family-centered care. Requirements

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) REQUIRED
Current Wisconsin RN license REQUIRED
BLS certification within 3 months of hire REQUIRED
NRP certification within 6 months of hire REQUIRED
ACLS certification within 1 year of hire REQUIRED
Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification within 2 years of hire REQUIRED

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
OB experience preferred

Responsibilities

Provide individualized patient- and family-focused care throughout the patient's stay, anticipating changes in care needs.
Evaluate patient assessments and responses to interventions and take appropriate action according to established standards.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge and competence in required registered nurse competencies, including thorough knowledge of medications administered.
Assess labor progression and manage induction of labor and cervical ripening.
Perform fetal heart monitoring and neonatal assessments.
Recognize and manage neonatal sepsis.
Manage obstetric emergencies, including prolapsed cord, breech delivery, postpartum hemorrhage, precipitous delivery, uterine rupture, and placental abruption.
