About The Position

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY: Join a great team of experienced Laborists and Nurse Midwives, co-managing with both residents and Nurse Midwives. Focus on giving inpatient care to pregnant women, managing labor and delivery on both an emergency and routine basis. Flexible 8/24-hour in-house shifts per month. Staff of surgical Physician Assistants to assist with scheduled caesarians. Geisinger Wyoming Valley, Wilkes-Barre, PA averages 2,000 deliveries per year supported by a level III NICU. Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton, PA averages 900 deliveries per year supported by a level II NICU. Competitive straight salary model plus recruitment incentives. Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
• Licensed Medical Doctor - State of Pennsylvania
