OB Hospitalist (PD) - Atlantic Health Overlook Medical Center
About The Position
Atlantic Health is seeking a per diem OB Hospitalist to join the Women’s Health Department at Atlantic Health Overlook Medical Center in Summit, New Jersey. This role is part of a dynamic multidisciplinary specialist team dedicated to providing a full spectrum of women's services, including annual exams, obstetrics, and family planning. The position offers a highly competitive hourly wage and an outstanding work/life balance with flexible scheduling and no on-call duties. Additionally, there is an opportunity to teach and mentor residents. Responsibilities include evaluating and managing OB and L&D emergencies, attending deliveries, and assisting with or performing surgical procedures. The OB Hospitalist will also collaborate closely with the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine to care for high-risk pregnancies.
Requirements
- Must be an OB Hospitalist.
- Must be available for per diem shifts.
- Must be trained to provide a complete range of women's services.
- Must be able to evaluate and manage patients in OB and L&D emergencies.
- Must be able to attend deliveries.
- Must be able to assist and perform surgical procedures.
- Must be able to work closely with the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
- Must be able to teach and mentor residents.
Responsibilities
