About The Position

We are seeking a Board Certified OB/GYN physician to join our team as an OB Hospitalist in Davenport, IA. This is a Locum Tenens position with an In-House Call Only coverage type. The role involves providing 24-hour weekday call coverage, with opportunities for weekend coverage as well. The patient mix is approximately 40% low-risk and 60% high-risk pregnancies, with an average daily volume that is variable. The facility handles 2-5 nursery admissions per day and 65-80 deliveries per month. The physician will be responsible for triaging and delivering patients, covering ER calls for OB/GYN, rounding on patients, and covering 'no doc' patients. Proficiency in Cerner (transitioning to Epic in Sep 2026) is required. Specialty backup from CNMs and residents is available.

Requirements

• Board Certified in OB/GYN
• IA or IMLC License
• Fetal Monitoring Certification
• Provide 2 references (supervisor)
• Clean malpractice/background
• Proficiency in Cerner/Epic

Responsibilities

• Triage and deliver Genesis OB patients
• Cover Genesis ER calls for OB/GYN
• Round on Genesis patients on unit
• Cover No doc patients (approx 1 or less per day)
• Perform circumcisions if able (not mandatory)
