About The Position

We are seeking a Board Certified OB/GYN physician for a Locum Tenens position in Redwood City, California. This is a new practice launch with an ongoing coverage period starting November 1, 2026. The role involves providing 24-hour, in-house shifts for OB/GYN patients, including high-risk pregnancies and gynecologic emergencies. The hospital has over 200 beds, with specialty backup available from Maternal-Fetal Medicine, NICU, and community OB/GYNs. Responsibilities include triage, surgery, labor and delivery management, emergency care, and inpatient consults.

Requirements

• Board Certified in OB/GYN
• Active CA license
• Active CA DEA
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience
• Clean background
• No malpractice issues
• NPDB self-query report
• Completed prescreen questionnaire
• CV in MM/YYYY format with gaps explained

Nice To Haves

• 5 years of clinical experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide OB and GYN triage and surgery
• Manage labor and delivery
• Handle obstetric and gynecologic emergencies
