About The Position

Mendocino Community Health Clinic (MCHC) is seeking an OB/GYN to join Care for Her, their women’s health center, in Ukiah, CA. This is a collaborative practice with a team that includes 4 full-time, experienced OB/GYNs and a part-time OB/GYN, along with eight Certified Nurse Midwives, Women’s Health Nurse Practitioners, Perinatal Educators, Lactation Consultants, and a dedicated Behavioral Health Counselor. Patients are seen for scheduled appointments in the outpatient clinic and for surgeries and deliveries at Adventist Health Ukiah Valley. The practice covers all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology care. MCHC's mission is to provide the highest quality healthcare to all individuals in their communities, ensuring no one is turned away from healthcare in Lake and Mendocino Counties.

Requirements

• Valid license issued by the Medical Board of California or Osteopathic Medical Board to practice medicine (obtained prior to start date).
• Completion of a Residency in Obstetrics/Gynecology.

Responsibilities

• Provide full scope obstetrics and gynecology care.
• See patients for regularly scheduled appointments in the outpatient clinic.
• Perform surgeries and deliveries at Adventist Health Ukiah Valley.
• Supervise residents if desired.
• Participate in call shifts (second layer, after midwives).
