About The Position

The OB/GYN Physician will provide the full scope of obstetric and gynecologic care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. This role offers the opportunity to practice in a collaborative environment with strong subspecialty support and shared hospital coverage. The physician will provide comprehensive OB/GYN care, including prenatal, delivery, postpartum, and gynecologic services, and diagnose and treat a wide range of women’s health conditions. They will perform surgical procedures consistent with training and experience, collaborate with MFM specialists, OB Hospitalists, and subspecialty providers for coordinated patient care, and participate in shared call coverage. Maintaining accurate, compliant, and timely medical documentation, adhering to clinical protocols, quality standards, and patient safety initiatives, and engaging in quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practices are also key responsibilities. Building and maintaining strong patient relationships and contributing to practice growth are expected. The role may provide clinical oversight to Advanced Practice Providers (Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants), nursing staff, and medical assistants as applicable, and participate in mentoring, training, and onboarding of clinical staff as needed.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency program
  • Eligible for Arizona medical licensure
  • DEA license (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered, team-based care
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills
  • Strong clinical knowledge across the full spectrum of obstetrics and gynecology
  • Surgical proficiency in standard OB/GYN procedures
  • Excellent diagnostic and clinical decision-making abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with patients and care teams
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (MIGS)
  • Familiarity with collaborative care models including MFM and OB Hospitalist programs
  • Interest in clinical quality improvement or research initiatives
