About The Position

DocStar Medical Partners is seeking an OB/GYN physician (DO or MD) for an ongoing need in New York. This role involves both hospital (Labor & Delivery) and clinic settings. The client is looking for a minimum commitment of 3 months, with opportunities for extension up to 12 months. This is an excellent opportunity to serve an underserved community, with a focus on women aged 14-21 giving birth and a low C-section rate of 4%.

Requirements

• DO or MD
• Specialty: OB/GYN
• Ability to perform all OB procedures.
• Experience in both clinic and L+D settings.
• Minimum commitment of 3 months.
• NY licensed candidates strongly preferred.
• Will consider non-licensed candidates who can commit to 2-3 weeks per month and a longer contract length.
• BC/BE OB/GYN

• Experience working with Hasidic Jews.

Responsibilities

• Perform all OB procedures.
• Work in both clinic and Labor & Delivery settings.
• Serve as the sole physician in the clinic, working alongside an LPN and Mid-wives.
