About The Position

East Lakeland OB/GYN Associates is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified OB/GYN to join their established physician-owned practice in the Jackson–Flowood metropolitan area. This opportunity is ideal for physicians seeking the autonomy of private practice, a highly favorable call schedule, strong surgical opportunities, and a clear path to partnership. The practice is physician-led with a proven partnership track, typically achieved within 2-3 years, and offers a collaborative, physician-led culture centered on "Healthcare for Women by Women." The practice is designed to support physician well-being with 3.5 clinic days per week, Friday half-days, dedicated administrative and surgical time, approximately 21 weekday call shifts annually, and approximately 5 weekends of call annually, with a post-call day off after weekend call. Call burden is expected to decrease as hospitalist coverage expands. Physicians will work alongside five experienced OB/GYN physicians and two Advanced Practice Providers. The practice offers a balanced OB/GYN practice with access to advanced technology and strong surgical volume, including dedicated weekly OR block time, access to three Da Vinci robotic systems, opportunities for minimally invasive and robotic surgery, and additional surgical access through Surgicare surgery center. Hospital affiliations include Merit Health River Oaks and Merit Health Women's Hospital, with Level III NICU support and modern labor and delivery facilities. The clinic, hospital, and surgery center are in convenient proximity.
