About The Position

Dignity Health Medical Group – Stockton is seeking an experienced and dynamic founding OB/GYN Residency Program Director to launch and shape a brand-new OB/GYN residency program. This is a unique opportunity to build a residency program from the ground up, establishing its curriculum, culture, and legacy. The Program Director will define the educational mission and foster the next generation of OB/GYN specialists. This role includes maintaining an engaging clinical practice within a collaborative, multispecialty group, ensuring connection to patient care while guiding residents. The position offers strong mentorship, emphasis on high-quality care, and access to advanced resources and technology.

Requirements

• MD/DO degree
• ABOG/AOBOG Board Certified
• Unrestricted CA Medical License (current or eligible)
• DEA number
• 5+ years as a practicing OBGYN Physician
• 3+ years faculty experience (educational/administrative) in an ACGME-accredited OBGYN Residency Program
• Demonstrated teaching leadership
• Community-engaged health care research experience
• Strong instructional and presentation skills
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
