OB/GYN Physician Full-Time or Part-Time
About The Position
Northeastern Rural Health Clinics (NRHC) is seeking a full-time or part-time OB/GYN physician to join our team in Susanville, California. This position includes outpatient obstetric and gynecologic care, prenatal and postpartum care, deliveries at Banner Lassen Medical Center, and participation in a shared OB call rotation. The typical clinic volume is approximately 18 patients per full clinic day. Full-time clinic schedules may be structured as four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days. Part-time schedules may also be considered. OB call is shared separately. NRHC is a nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center that has served Lassen County and the surrounding area for nearly 50 years. We are the largest provider of outpatient healthcare services in Lassen County, with clinics in Susanville and Westwood. Susanville is a rural Northern California community surrounded by mountains, lakes, forests, and trails. The area offers year-round opportunities for hiking, fishing, boating, camping, and other outdoor activities. It is also a place where people know one another, support their community, and value their local healthcare providers.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of an accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program
- Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Current California medical license or ability to obtain one
- Current DEA registration or ability to obtain one
- Ability to meet NRHC and Banner Lassen Medical Center credentialing and privileging requirements
- Commitment to providing quality care to rural and underserved patients
