About The Position
Desert West OBGYN, an affiliated practice of Unified Women’s Healthcare, is seeking a Full Time OB/GYN to join their team in Fall 2027. This is a quality of life position with only 4-5 call shifts per month and covering only 1 hospital. The role offers the opportunity to join a thriving and established practice with 12 OBGYNs, 3 OBGYN Hospitalists, and 8 Advance Practice Providers. The position is located in Glendale, AZ, which offers a vibrant mix of urban amenities and outdoor recreation, with sunny weather year-round and proximity to hiking, golfing, and world-class sports venues. The area boasts a growing healthcare sector, excellent school options, and a lower cost of living compared to many metropolitan areas. Physicians can expect a partnership track of 2-3 years to become an owner and have a voice in their practice, with the stability and success that a large, established practice brings. The practice serves the Western Phoenix, Glendale, and Peoria areas and delivers and operates at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center, which has a Level III NICU, Robotic Surgical System, and MFM on medical staff for consults.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
- Current Unrestricted AZ Medical License (or ability to obtain one)
- Current Unrestricted DEA License (or ability to obtain)
