OB/GYN Physician
About The Position
Southern New England Healthcare for Women, an affiliate of Unified Women's Healthcare, is seeking a skilled and collaborative OB/GYN Physician to join the Center for Obstetrics and Gynecology in Providence, Rhode Island. This role offers the chance to work within a supportive, team-based model that includes physicians and midwives, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. The practice consists of 6 OB/GYN Physicians and 2 Nurse Practitioners, operating on a 4-day work week that includes office, surgery, and laborist responsibilities. There is a shared call schedule with another practice, averaging approximately one 24-hour call shift per month. Midwives handle first call, with physicians providing supervising backup. Additional call shifts are available for increased compensation. All deliveries occur at Women & Infants Hospital of Rhode Island. The physician will supervise and collaborate with a team of 13 midwives in a hospital-based program.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
- Current Unrestricted State Medical License
- Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
Responsibilities

- Participate in a 4-day work week including office, surgery, and laborist responsibilities.
- Share call schedule with another practice (approx. 1 call shift per month).
