OB/GYN Physician
About The Position
The Group for Women, an affiliated practice of Unified Women's Healthcare, is seeking a Full Time OB/GYN to join their practice in the Hampton Roads area. The practice has a long history of serving women and is dedicated to providing comprehensive care in gynecology, infertility, and obstetrics. The team includes 9 OB/GYN Physicians, 2 Certified Nurse Midwives, 1 Nurse Practitioner, 3 Physician Assistants, and 1 Family and Marriage Therapist, supported by dedicated staff. Physicians are trained in minimally invasive surgery, including vaginal and laparoscopic hysterectomies, DaVinci robotic procedures, and in-office procedures. The practice is affiliated with Sentara Leigh Hospital and has three convenient locations: two in Norfolk and one in Chesapeake.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
- Current Unrestricted State Medical License
- Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care in gynecology, infertility, and obstetrics.
- Train new physicians in minimally invasive surgery options.
- Participate in a 1:9 call schedule.
