OB/GYN Hospitalist (Part-Time)
About The Position
Dignity Health Medical Group - Dominican is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician (OB/GYN) to join our growing OB/GYN Team in Santa Cruz, CA. This foundational role offers a rare level of practice autonomy. Whether you prefer a 100% clinic-based model, an OB Hospitalist / Laborist shift-based schedule, or a traditional Full-Scope OB/GYN practice, we provide the flexibility to define your own work-life balance. The facilities include a modern, well-equipped birthing center, approximately 700-800 deliveries annually, an onsite Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), 24/7 anesthesia coverage with a team of experienced anesthesiologists, and a dedicated OB ED.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Active California medical license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA certification
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care
Responsibilities
- Provide Obstetrics and Gynecology care as an OB/GYN Hospitalist (Laborist).

- Full-Time Annual Salary: $424,000
