OB/GYN Hospitalist (Part Time) - Gilbert, AZ
About The Position
We are seeking a part-time inpatient OB/GYN hospitalist to join our high-acuity Labor & Delivery Unit in Gilbert, Arizona. This role offers flexible scheduling with 3-4 shifts per month, focusing 100% on inpatient care. You will manage low- and high-risk labor and deliveries, perform cesarean sections, respond to obstetric emergencies, and handle OB/GYN consults. The position is supported by a multidisciplinary team including MFM, anesthesia, and neonatology, with a low administrative burden to allow focus on direct patient care. We offer flexible 24-hour or 12-hour shift options, with no on-call duties outside scheduled hours.
Requirements
- MD or DO from accredited U.S. medical school
- Completion of ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
- Arizona medical license (or ability to obtain)
Nice To Haves
- Prior inpatient obstetrics or OB hospitalist experience
- Proficiency in obstetric and emergent gynecologic surgery
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Manage low- and high-risk labor and deliveries
