About The Position
Nuvance Health, proudly joining Northwell Health, is seeking a full-time Obstetrician/Gynecologist to join an established and successful group. Part-time and per diem opportunities are also available. The practice admits exclusively to Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. The Labor and Delivery Unit sees about 2,800 babies born each year and is supported by a level III NICU staffed by neonatologists, an excellent Perinatology program, fellowship-trained breast surgeons, and GYN-oncologists. The position offers a strategic location with easy access to New York City, a collegial environment, and excellent work-life balance.
Requirements
- Board certified/eligible physician.
- New graduates are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Provide obstetric and gynecological care to patients.
- Admit patients to Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
- Work within a busy Labor and Delivery Unit.
- Collaborate with neonatologists, perinatologists, breast surgeons, and GYN-oncologists.
