About The Position
Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to support the coordination, continuity, and quality of care for obstetric patients across the perinatal continuum. Focuses on care coordination, patient flow support, and operational assistance to promote safe, efficient, and patient-centered obstetric services.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in nursing required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an obstetric nurse.
- BLS (American Heart Association/Basic Life Support) required.
- Florida Registered Nurse License required.
- High-level skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and with a team, with a high level of confidentiality.
- Some skills in researching evidence-based practice.
- Use of patient safety tools required.
- Knowledge of Obstetric/Maternal Services policies and standards of practice.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
- Certification in inpatient obstetrics preferred.
- Membership in the Association of Women’s Health and Neonatal Nurses preferred.
