Under the direction of Project Management, performs work involving the day to day operation and maintenance of the wastewater facility including all related infrastructure, equipment, buildings and grounds. This role performs technical O&M activities related to the wastewater facility, including all related infrastructure, equipment, processes and systems. It also performs routine PM activities related to all infrastructure, equipment, processes and systems. The incumbent conducts Wastewater sampling and laboratory monitoring per Project and Regulatory requirements and assists in ensuring all equipment and processes are well maintained and functioning properly. The role requires performing work in a safe and professional manner by following all corporate and regulatory policies, procedures, and emergency response procedures. The O&M Technician II must be able to work weekends, holidays, and be on-call on a rotating basis/schedule with fellow operators. They will respond to emergencies, work additional hours as required to complete tasks as/and when needed. This position assists the project and department to develop a culture of focus and engagement at the project to achieve EH&S excellence. The role also involves completing and maintaining proper operational and maintenance documents and records, operating project vehicles, heavy equipment, fork lift, etc., and performing cleanup/housekeeping activities at all facilities, buildings and grounds. Other duties as assigned.
