About The Position

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career. As an NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) Test Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. You will lead and perform noise, vibration, harshness, and thermal management testing projects.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start)
One (1) year of NVH or acoustics experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

Master's degree or higher in NVH from an accredited institution
Proficiency in NVH test methods and data acquisition systems
Demonstrated NVH system developing and testing experience for commercial vehicles
Ability to generate novel ideas and creatively apply to NVH testing and applications
Strong product development, planning, and analytical skills
Excellent communication (e.g. written, verbal, presentation) and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

Managing and performing testing to validate the solution for full vehicle and component
Analyzing test results and making recommendations for requirement verification of the product or solution
Developing, implementing, and standardizing advanced test methods and procedures
Working collaboratively with development engineers, application engineers, and account managers to support design and product optimization
Responsibilities of this position include that corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties.
