The NVH Engineer at Brembo will work in both the virtual world of CAE Modeling and the tangible/empirical reality of physical testing. This role involves modeling, analyzing, and supporting the product development of automotive brake systems to meet NVH performance targets. The engineer will perform NVH analysis for automotive brake systems, create CAE models for brake squeal, and conduct complex eigenvalue analysis (CEA) to reduce brake squeal propensity. Sensitivity analysis will be performed on real and complex eigenvalues to determine critical design parameters for brake squeal. The position is responsible for NVH corner and chassis development for all customers and for NVH testing activities at the dynamometer level, both internally and externally. Advanced measurements such as FRF, Modal Analysis, pressure distribution analysis, ultrasound friction measurements, and 3D ODS analysis will be performed. The role also includes correlating CAE analysis and testing to identify potential design optimizations and recommend solutions to structural and NVH development issues.
